This is the first in a new lightweight range of tactical brown boots from LOWA that compliment the Task Force collection.

The LOWA Elite Light brown is an exceptional tabbing boot due to its lightweight qualities and has been tried and tested by the UK military.

Ideally suited as a lightweight boot for use around camp by members of the military and eqaully at home on the parade ground of a cadet unit at night.

Construction: board lasted upper, cemented sole

Upper: full grain leather 2.2-2.4 mm

Lacing: open hooks & D rings

Lining: Vitatex

First things first, I just need to commend the delivery time. Less than 48 hours after I placed the order and they were already at my door. That alone was fantastic.

Regarding the product, I’m not one to dive into the minor finesses. I’m merely a cadet. However, I’ve always worn Lowa boots when I partake in road marching. Typically I’ve always worn the Elites and not the Elite Lights. Though I haven’t had a full experience with these boots yet, though a 20k walk to break them in has already shown me how lightweight and sturdy these boots are. The difference in weight is immediately evident. Lowa have a reputation for rugged and tough, hard-going footwear. And these boots do not disappoint. They have great ankle support, top quality leathers and lining, they’re extremely comfortable and very water resistant as far as I have noticed.

Overall, a genuinely fantastic product and very wholesome service all round. If you are looking for a dependable, lightweight boot, then I highly recommend these.
