the leather started to split and break after just a couple of months despite good care. Not as hard wearing as they used to be

Good pair of boots in terms of looks, however wore them twice for low level walking on flat ground and the boot has started to separate from the base itself.
I may have received a dooky manufacture, though that’s unknown
