The Bhutan employs Meindl’s innovative Memory Foam System (MFS). The foam in the upper changes shape to exactly match the shape of the foot. A perfect fit, straight out of the box!

GORE-TEX® Footwear The Meindl Bhutan MFS now boasts a host of new features, including an improved lacing system and more streamlined upper. The addition of memory foam and extra soft ankle cushioning makes them a lot more comfortable.

It uses the same last and highly durable Vibram sole unit as its predecessor.

Meindl category 'B': suitable for anything from walks in the park, any easy trekking, to demanding hikes in low-level mountain areas.

Bhutan MFS is a walking boot that’s suitable for hillwalking throughout the UK and Ireland – it’s extremely well suited to some of our best-loved landscapes including the Lake District, Snowdonia, and Scotland.

Each wear – clean the boots of mud and dirt.

Apply Meindl Sport Wax to the upper to keep the leather soft and supple (once a month for regular use, every 6-8 weeks if weekend use only).

Every 6 to 12 months (dependent on usage) – wash the Goretex lining. Fill the boot with water and mild detergent solution and then swill it around prior to rinsing with water. This will clean the Goretex lining and improve its effectiveness.

All Meindl boots can be re-soled at the Meindl factory in Germany as long as the upper is in good condition.
