The replacement for the famous LOWA Patrol Boot. The LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown is part of a completely new modular system of mission boots. 2 Heights, 4 colours, 3 leather variations and the option of either having a 100% GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort Footwear Membrane or not. The LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown’s ankle-high upper offers an ideal combination of stability and freedom of movement. In addition to the comfortable dual-density PU midsole with integrated arch support for long tabs, yomps, rucks or marches the certified ankle protection system with PORON® technology makes this boot the ideal choice for soldiers, airmen, police officers, security consultants and private military contractors. A combination of highly abrasion-resistant, breathable CORDURA® material and nubuck leather is used for the upper. The boot’s ankle-high upper offers an ideal combination of stability and great freedom of movement.
These LOWA boots are EN ISO 20347 certified and are classified as occupational footwear. This means that at the very least they can be expected to offer a reasonable degree of protection against oil, water, and penetrative forces. Occupational footwear such as these also provide a degree of anti-static resistance and come with shock-absorbing heels as standard. In addition to these qualities, wearers of the LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown benefit from a new Vibram® Vanguard outsole. The Vibram® Vanguard sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain. The sole is resoleable.
Ankle protection is particularly important in the military & Police sector and for work in rough terrain. The LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown is equipped with high-performance protection of the ankle area against injuries caused by external impact. The protection of the inner and outer ankles is ensured by a PORON® padding in the affected area. This material is characterised by particularly high shock absorption and is certified (an additional requirement AN).
The two-zone lacing system used in the LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown means the forefoot and upper have their own separate adjustable lacing zones. As a result, the boot can be individually adapted to the anatomy of the foot and laced in different ways for ascents and descents.
100% Polyurethane (PU)Midsole. PU is a soft plastic that has very good cushioning properties and is usually used in the midsole as a result. Using PU the soles of boots become lightweight and functionally flexible.
The LOWA BREACHER N MID Brown is equipped with an exchangeable footbed for optimal individual adjustment and, in combination with the orthopaedic insoles ErgoPad® work:x and ErgoPad® work:h+ from BAUERFEIND®, is certified and approved for use as occupational footwear in accordance with DIN EN ISO 20347:2012
