This is a very fine piece of handcraft made in the Swedish part of Lapland in a traditional style.
The Blade is 16cm (6.3 inches) long and made from flexible thin Swedish stainless steel.
The blade extends with an internal tang that stretches approx 2.5" into the handle and is secured very firmly so that it will not come loose.

Basically the blade will never come loose!
The Handle is made from oiled curly birch and reindeer antler.
The Sheath is made from cow hide leather, it has a leather belt hanger attached to it and is decorated with an embossed Salmon.
