Sandvik Stainless Steel is capable of undergoing the heat treatment that gives it its good hardness is called martensitic. It has a carbon content of at least 0.40%, giving it a good cutting edge and an excellent resistance to corrosion.
The handle is made from durable Bubinga and the 15 cm Opinel curved blade is effective, precise, elegant.
